LOBO Trax
, an interactive audit, is replacing the current static E-Progress report.
Title-V Educational Initiatives, Enrollment Management, and Information Technologies
have teamed together to enhance the current E-Progress report. After fifteen years
of using a static degree audit report, the software is getting a makeover and going
interactive. The new report is also getting a new name, LOBO Trax. It is in color,
easy to read, and provides graphs showing degree progress and GPA. Each display
provides drill down ability for more detail on courses that are completed,
in-progress, planned, or needed. LOBO Trax also provides easier access to the
online catalog through links within the audit.
One major feature of LOBO Trax is the “Course Planner”, a two year
interactive course planning tool for student use. Students will be able to plan out
their academic progress using this tool.
It will be a seamless transition from the old E-Progress report to the new LOBO trax
and will be accessed in the same way as the current E-Progress report through LoboWeb.
Henry Gonzalez, Title-V M.A.P.S. Program Specialist, along with Annette Torres,
Senior Degree Audit Analyst from Enrollment Management, will be providing information
and training on LOBO Trax prior to its rollout. The rollout of LOBO Trax will be
mid-Spring 2010.
